Campus Dedication

Campus High School was dedicated in a ceremony held Oct 15, 1961 in the school's auditorium. The news clipping was copied from the October 27, 1961 Colt Special Newspaper, Volume II, Number 4 on page two.

On a lighter note, art teacher Dee Connett's white 1960 MG was featured on page 3's article "Heap of the Week."

They plan to use "Big John" for his theme song. Big Bad John, can be found in the teachers workroom every morning listening to his theme song...
Was that a new flag flying on the football field flag pole or was that Issie Templeton's bright red pj's?
"Knights of the Library." Cross country boys playfully protested Mrs. Knights strict rules Thursday in the library by picketing. Didn't work, boys!
